After a test week, the medium-sized composite electric bus MODULO traveled more than 1 000 km along the streets of Moscow.

The composite electric bus traveled through Moscow streets on the 11th of October for the very first time.

The unique characteristic of the electric bus is its completely self-supporting GFRP body, which NCC conducts mass production.

Significant weight reduction makes the bus and the costs of its operation absolutely competitive.

The introduction of MODULO buses will significantly reduce the cost of providing the work of the urban passenger transport network and will have a beneficial effect on the overall ecological situation in the city.

According to the CEO of NCC, Mikhail Stolyarov, the tests of the electric bus are successful, the car demonstrated its best qualities.

"Our electric buses have one of the lowest energy consumption rates in the world. Three hours of charging is enough to make the bus work all day.

(M. Stolyarov, CEO LCC NCC).

Since 2016 dozens of MODULO electric buses have been integrated into the transport network of Budapest. Actual operating data of the C68E model using the TÜV (SORT2) protocol: 0.62 kWh / km, and according to the Budapest Transport Company protocol: 0.65-0.75 kWh / km.

(Pal Sziraki, Evopro Holding).

In electric buses MODULO are installed electric motors and control system SIEMENS, 160 kW. Electric buses are equipped with equipment produced by Russian and world's leading manufacturers. Guarantee and service maintenance of electric buses is carried out by JVC NC and Evopro Group.

The use of NCC facilities in Russia in the long term will allow to reach the level of localization of the production of electric buses in 75-80%.
