NCC TOOK PART IN PRODUCTION OF TRAINS MOSCOW 2020

The first subway train of the newest series "Moscow 2020" has got on the ring line of the Moscow Metro, where the products manufactured by the NCC are widely used.

The company is a manufacturer and supplier of interior and exterior parts for 81-775/776/777 series cars. The products are made of certified low-combustible composite material. Within the framework of the interior part, NCC manufactures over the door/window lagging sheets, side panels, cabinets, door racks, intercar passages, cabin clodding and driver's console. The front parts (masks) of the head cars of the train and the side external lagging sheets located along the whole train are produced for the exterior. In total, more than 900 details that are used in 8 carriages are produced by NCC . This extensive work became possible due to significant expansion and modernization of NCC capacities, creation of new jobs and using of automated production technologies.

The main differences between the train "Moscow 2020" from the trains of the previous series is radically redesigned modern external appearance of the train, more convenient wide through passages inside the cars and high-tech stuffing: an increased number of new information displays, touch-screens to build routes, the latest security systems, LED interior lighting over the windows and under the seats, painted in the color of the line, which the train follows.

It is important to note that the manufacturing of products for urban transport is not the first experience for NCC. From 2014 to 2017, the company has been producing full-composite fiberglass bodies for buses operating in Hungary. It is no coincidence that for this development NCC was awarded the prestigious international prize for innovation in urban transport (JEC Innovation Awards 2016, Paris, France).
